Långören is an island in the archipelago off the East coast of
Blekinge and from 1700 until 1960 there was a functioning mariner pilot’s
station on the island. Today the station is open to visitors and offers a
magnificent view of the archipelago.

Långören still has some permanent residents.
However, during the summer months the island’s population greatly
increases as does the amount of activity.
